Day 10: A bit of sun to feel like new again

I'll probably have to be searching for a whole lot of rabbits' feet, salt and other good luck charms after saying this, but I feel like I'm finally starting to feel better. For the first time in days, I didn't wake up with chills, I slept almost the entire night through, and I'm holding down food. In fact, I felt so good this morning, I had my breakfast — of chicken soup, albeit — outside in the backyard, in my shorts. There was even a bit of sun out, which only added to the loveliness of the morning.

I've started to really get the hang of driving on the other side of the road. And getting to do it in an Audi A1, especially, makes the job a lot easier. Or at least, that's what I thought until today. Twice today, entering a roundabout, I misjudged another vehicle's actions and got honked at by both of them. Sigh. I know, I know — bear with the foreigner for just a second, eh?

Driving on the roads was a lot more straightforward than I thought it'd be and I don't know if that's because it actually is, or because I'm — gasp — getting a tad better at finding my way around. I did get lost at one point, but that's because I second-guessed myself and went straight instead of turning. Just goes to show that you should always listen to your instincts.
