Angry Birds I'm now really, really good at Angry Birds. Where I used to have missing stars on each level are none, replaced by shiny yellow stars all around. Some would say the only thing this indicates is a complete and utter waste of time, but when's the last time they dedicated themselves so wholly to such a task? Exactly. It's driving me a little crazy that I can't just get those last few stars and finish the game, but then again, where would I be with nothing to aim for?
Sudoku As hard as I've tried, I can't beat my best scores for Moderate and Intricate. This disappoints me greatly, as trying to shave off a couple of seconds is proving far more difficult than I'd initially thought. Time to focus harder and reapply myself.
Body-shaped lump in the bed After days and days of lying prone on my bed with my laptop resting on my thighs, I've come oh so close to scooping out a hollow in the middle of my bed. Not quite there yet, but I'm getting close.
Reviving my plants Mostly I've been trying to do this telepathically, staring at my tropical plants resting on my window sill as I will them to hold in water and stop dropping leaves. This has been a mixed bag of success, as my crotons are listening to me but my Eugenia insists on being taken outside to get even more sun than it already got.
Researching classical music So far, I've not managed to top three consecutive listens of Mozart's Requiem in one sitting, but I've also thrown in The Best of Tchaikovsky and Vivaldi's Four Seasons, also each three times. Other than learning I've a high threshold for hearing the same music ad nauseum, I've also learned that Prokofiev's Dance of the Knights sounds more stretched out if I watch the static image while listening to the music than if I just play it and work on other stuff.
Trying to out-funny George Takei I've given up. This can't be done, not even by George Takei.
